  1.1 These Regulations commence on gazettal.

  2.1 The Long Service Leave (Commonwealth Employees) Regulations are 
amended as set out in these Regulations.

  3.1 After item 22, insert:
  "22AA          Medibank Limited       Employment of a person who
                                        was taken to be engaged by
                                        Medibank Limited because of
                                        the operation of a declaration
                                        under section 21 of the Health
                                        Insurance Commission (Reform
                                        and Separation of Functions)
                                        Act 1997".
