29. (1) In this regulation:

"Committee" means:

   (a)  the Federal Ports Co-ordinating Committee; or

   (b)  a Port Co-ordinating Committee.

(2) Subject to subregulation (3), a member of a Committee shall hold office
until:

   (a)  he or she resigns by notice in writing given to the person authorised
        under section 169 or 170 of the Act, as the case may be, to make
        appointments to the Committee; or

   (b)  his or her appointment is, upon a request made in writing by the
        organisation or corporation that nominated the member, terminated by
        the person so authorised to make appointments to the Committee.

(3) A member co-opted by a Committee under subsection 169 (4) or 170 (4) of
the Act, as the case may be, shall cease to be a member when the Committee
decides that adequate consideration has been given to the matter in relation
to which he or she was co-opted to be a member.
