1. Commencement


  1.1 These Regulations are taken to have commenced on 1 January 1994.

2. Amendment


  2.1 The Immigration (Education) Regulations are amended as set out in these
Regulations.

3. Regulation 5 (Definitions-section 4A of the Act)


  3.1 Subparagraph 5 (1) (a) (ii):
Omit the subparagraph, substitute:
  "(ii) the Pensioner Health Benefits Card; or
  (iii) the Pensioner Concession Card;".

  3.2 Subparagraph 5 (1) (c) (ii):
Omit the subparagraph, substitute:
  "(ii) the Pensioner Health Benefits Card; or
  (iii) the Pensioner Concession Card;".
