Citation


  1. These Regulations may be cited as the Inspector-General of Intelligence
and Security Regulations.

Interpretation


  2. In these Regulations, unless the contrary intention appears, "the Act"
means the Inspector-General of Intelligence and Security Act 1986.

Remuneration and allowances payable to Inspector-General


  3. (1) For the purposes of sub-section 27(1) of the Act, the Inspector-
General shall be paid remuneration at the rate of $81,262 per year.
  (2) For the purposes of sub-section 27(2) of the Act, the following
allowances are prescribed in relation to the Inspector-General, namely, the
allowances payable to an officer of the Australian Public Service.
