Commencement


  1. These Regulations shall be taken to have commenced on 1 December 1988.

Exemption from levy


  2. Paragraph 5 (f) of the Horticultural Levy (Apple and Pear) Regulations is
amended by omitting "on which levy is, or becomes, payable under the Ca nned
Fruits Levy Act 1979" and substituting "used in the production  of can  ned
fruit".
