HEALTH INSURANCE (DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING SERVICES TABLE) AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 2011 (NO. 2) (SLI NO 99 OF 2011)

- Description:These Regulations amend the Health Insurance (Diagnostic Imaging Services Table) Regulations 2010 to make a number of changes to the Diagnostic Imaging Services Table of the Medicare Benefits Schedule to ensure consistency and alignment with current best medical practice. These include new items for computed tomography of the coronary arteries and positron emission tomography and amendments to items for positron emission tomography, prostate ultrasound and muscoluskeletal ultrasound.
