1. Commencement


  1.1 These Regulations commence on 1 February 1996.

2. Amendment


  2.1 The Domestic Meat Premises Charge Regulations are amended as set out in
these Regulations.

3. Regulation 5 (Charge for a financial year)


  3.1 Omit "that begins on or after 1 July 1994".

  4.1 Omit the regulation.

  6         Abattoir having a Quality Assurance Agreement
            approved under Part 7 of the Meat Inspection
            (General) Orders for all operations at the
            abattoir:
            (a) if the number of inspection hours received    $1,325
            in the previous financial year is 5,000 or
            fewer
            (b) if the number of inspection hours received    $6,190
            in the previous financial year is more than
            5,000
