Diving allowance


  1. Regulation 17 of the Defence Force (Salaries) Regulations is amended by
adding at the end thereof the following sub-regulation:
  "(4) Ship's diver's allowance is not payable to a qualified clearance diver
in the Navy.".

  2. The Defence Force (Salaries) Regulations as amended by clause 1 apply in
relation to diving duties undertaken on or after the date of making of
Determination 0110, Clearance Diving Allowance under section 58B of the
Defence Act 1903.
