Interpretation


  1. Regulation 3 of the Defence Force (Bounties and Gratuities) Regulations
is amended by omitting from paragraph (c) of the definition of "member" in
sub-regulation (1) "air cadet" and "cadet aircrew", wherever occurring, and
substituting "officer cadet" and "non-commissioned officer cadet"
respectively.

Interpretation


  2. Regulation 10 of the Defence Force (Bounties and Gratuities) Regulations
is amended by omitting from the definition of "officer" in sub-regulation (1)
"air cadet" and substituting "officer cadet".

Application


  3. The amendment of the Defence Force (Bounties and Gratuities) Regulations
as effected by clause 2 to this Interim Determination in relation to service
by a member shall be deemed to have taken effect on 30 December 1983.
