  The Copyright Regulations are amended by inserting after regulation 15 the
following regulation:
Variation of sub-section 56 (1) of the Act in its application in respect of
records generally
  "15A. For the purpose of sub-section 58 (2) of the Act, sub-section 56 (1)
of the Act, in its application in respect of records generally, shall have
effect subject to the following variation, namely, as if there were
substituted for '5%' in that sub-section-
  (a)  in respect of the period commencing on the date of commencement of this
regulation and ending at the expiration of 30 September 1984-'6%'; and
  (b)  in respect of any period after 30 September 1984-'6.25%'.".
