1. Amendment


  1.1 The Banks (Shareholdings) Regulations are amended as set out in these
Regulations.
(NOTE: These Regulations commence on gazettal: see Acts Interpretation Act
1901, s. 48.)

  2.1 After item 6, insert:
  "6A   Bank of Western Australia Ltd
                   The Standard Life Assurance Company, being the
                   corporation formed or incorporated under that
                   name in Scotland
                   The Governor and Company of the Bank of Scotland,
                   being the corporation formed or incorporated
                   under that name in Scotland
                   Scottish Western Australia Holdings Pty Ltd".
