1.  Amendment


  1.1  The Banks (Shareholdings) Regulations are amended as set out in these
Regulations.
(NOTE: These Regulations commence on gazettal: see Acts Interpretation Act
1901, s.48.)

2.  Regulation 7 (Prescribed persons and interests-paragraph
8 (9) (d) of the Act (authorised banks))


  2.1   Subregulation (3):
Add at the end "for the purposes of paragraph 8 (9) (d) of the Act".
  2.2   Subregulation (5):
Add at the end "for the purposes of paragraph 8 (9) (d) of the Act".
  2.3   Subregulation (6):
Omit "15 October 1992", substitute "15 October 1993".
