The Banking (Foreign Exchange) Regulations are amended as set out in these
Regulations.

2. New regulation 39A


2.1 After regulation 39, insert:
Directions by Treasurer
  ``39A. In giving directions under regulations 38 and 39, the Treasurer is to
take into account Australia's relations with other countries and its
obligations under international law.".
