1994 No. 36 ANTARCTIC TREATY (ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION) (WASTE MANAGEMENT) REGULATIONS - REG 2

2. The objects of these Regulations are:

   (a)  to assist in implementing Australia s obligations under Annex III to
        the Madrid Protocol; and

   (b)  to provide for the management of waste generated in connection with
        activities in the Antarctic to which the Annex does not apply.
