AUSTRALIAN SECURITIES AND INVESTMENTS COMMISSION AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 2010 (NO. 2) (SLI NO 87 OF 2010)

- Description:These Regulations amend the Australian Securities and Investments Commission Regulations 2001 to support the national regulation of margin loans which was implemented by Schedule 1 of the Corporations Legislation Amendment (Financial Services Modernisation) Act 2009. The Regulations provide that the Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act 2001 provisions relating to misleading, deceptive and unconscionable conduct apply to margin loans.
