1. Amendment


  1.1 The Administrative Appeals Tribunal Regulations are amended as set out
in these Regulations.
(NOTE: These Regulations commence on gazettal: see Acts Interpretation Act
1901, s. 48.)

2. Regulation 5A (Arrangement of business)


  2.1 Omit "made", substitute "made or, because of section 60 of the Veterans'
Affairs (1994-95 Budget Measures) Legislation Amendment Act 1994, taken to
have been made,".

  2.2 Omit "or section 39 of the Seamen's War Pensions and Allowances Act 1940
or a matter remitted to the Tribunal by virtue of section 59 of the
Repatriation Legislation Amendment Act 1984, under subsection 107VZZH (5) of
the Repatriation Act 1920".

3. Schedule 3 (Prescribed decisions for the purposes of regulation 19)


  3.1 Item 1:
Omit "the Seamen's War Pensions and Allowances Act 1940,".

  3.2 Item 1:
Omit "or the Veterans' Entitlements Act 1986", substitute ", the Veterans'
Entitlements Act 1986 or a decision that is taken, because of section 60 of
the Veterans' Affairs (1994-95 Budget Measures) Legislation Amendment Act
1994, to have been made under the Veterans' Entitlements Act 1986".
