Principal Regulations


  1. In these Regulations, "Principal Regulations" means the Wool Industry
(Sampling Sites) Regulations.

Repeal of regulation 2


  2. Regulation 2 of the Principal Regulations is repealed.

  3. Regulation 4 of the Principal Regulations is repealed.

Criteria for registration


  4. Regulation 8 of the Principal Regulations is amended-
  (a)  by omitting from paragraph (d) "representative) of" and substituting
"representative of"; and
  (b)  by omitting from paragraph (d) "sample, was drawn." and substituting
"sample was drawn.".

Operator to keep records


  5. Regulation 9A of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting from
sub-regulation (1) "that are suitable" and substituting "that were suitable".

Powers of inspectors at sites


  6. Regulation 10 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting from
sub-regulation (3) "he fails to produce a certificate issued to him" and
substituting "the inspector fails to produce a certificate issued to the
inspector".

Amendment of statement of methods


  7. Regulation 11 of the Principal Regulations is amended-
  (a)  by omitting from sub-regulation (1) "he" and substituting "the
operator"; and
  (b)  by omitting from sub-regulation (2) "A person" and "he" and
substituting "An operator" and "the operator" respectively.

Cancellation of registration


  8. Regulation 13 of the Principal Regulations is amended-
  (a)  by omitting from paragraph (2) (a) "he" (twice occurring) and
substituting "the Secretary"; and
  (b)  by omitting from paragraph (3) (a) "he" (twice occurring) and
substituting "the Secretary".

  9. Regulation 15 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting from
sub-regulation (2) "he" and substituting "the Secretary".

  10. Regulation 16 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting from
sub-regulation (1) "he" and substituting "the Secretary".

  11. Regulation 17 of the Principal Regulations is amended-
  (a)  by omitting from paragraph (b) "his" and substituting "the"; and

Delegation


  12. Regulation 18 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting from
sub-regulation (1) "by him, delegate any of his powers" and substituting "by
the Secretary, delegate any of the powers of the Secretary".
