VETERANS' ENTITLEMENTS (DFISA-LIKE PAYMENT) AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 2006 (NO. 1) (SLI NO 210 OF 2006)

- Description:These Regulations amend the Veterans' Entitlements (DFISA-like Payment) Regulations 2005. These Regulations enable payments to be made to farmers and small business owners who are otherwise eligible for an ex gratia payment under the Australian Government Cyclone Larry Income Support Programme (cyclone payment) or the Australian Government Cyclone Larry and Cyclone Monica Income Support Programme (cyclone payment) but who had their cyclone payment reduced or extinguished because the person received adjusted disability pension and under the means test for the cyclone payment adjusted disability pension was taken into account.
