1984 No. 17 STUDENT ASSISTANCE REGULATIONS (AMENDMENT) - REG 2

2. Regulation 34 of the Student Assistance Regulations is amended-

   (a)  by omitting from sub-paragraph (1) (h) (i) "successfully completed
        before the relevant day represent one-half or less than one-half of a
        first" and substituting "undertook in that year and successfully
        completed before the relevant day represent one-half or less than
        one-half of a";

   (b)  by omitting from sub-paragraph (1) (h) (ii) "successfully completed
        before the relevant day together represent one-half or less than
        one-half of the first" and substituting "undertook in those 2 years of
        study and successfully completed before the relevant day together
        represent one-half or less than one-half of";

   (c)  by omitting from sub-paragraph (1) (h) (iii) "successfully completed
        in that last year of study" and substituting "undertook in that last
        year of study and successfully completed before the relevant day";

   (d)  by omitting from sub-paragraph (1) (h) (iv) "successfully completed in
        those 2 years of study" and substituting "undertook in those 2 years
        of study and successfully completed before the relevant day";

   (e)  by omitting from sub-paragraph (1) (h) (v) "successfully completed in
        those 2 years of study" and substituting "undertook in those 2 years
        of study and successfully completed before the relevant day"; and

   (f)  by omitting from sub-paragraph (1) (h) (vi) "has successfully
        completed in those 2 years" and substituting "undertook in those 2
        years of study and successfully completed before the relevant day".
