Minimum retiring age


  1. Regulation 5 of the Superannuation (Retiring Age) Regulations is amended
by adding at the end of sub-regulation (1) the following paragraph:

  "(c)  persons who are employees within the meaning of the Commonwealth
Employees (Redeployment and Retirement) Act 1979 and whose minimum retiring
age under that Act is the age of 55 years.".

Commencement


  2. Regulation 1 shall come into operation on 6 February 1981.
