Citation


  1. These Regulations may be cited as the Rural Industries Research
Regulations.

Commencement


  2. These Regulations shall come into operation on 1 February 1986.

Interpretation


  3. In these Regulations, unless the contrary intention appears -
"leviable grain legumes" has the same meaning as in the Grain Legumes
    Levy Act 1985;
"the Act" means the Rural Industries Research Act 1985.

Prescribed levy


  4. The levy that is imposed by sub-section 6 (1) of the Grain Legumes Levy
Act 1985 in respect of leviable grain legumes produced in Australia is
declared, with effect from 1 February 1986, to be a prescribed levy.

Grain Legumes Research Trust Fund


  5. The Research Fund established under sub-section 6 (3) of the Act in
respect of leviable grain legumes shall be known as the Grain Legumes Research
Trust Fund.

Grain Legumes Research Council


  6. The Research Council established under sub-section 11 (3) of the Act in
respect of leviable grain legumes shall be known as the Grain Legumes Research
Council.
