Directions to perform temporarily duties of an office other than officer's own office 1983 No. 4 PUBLIC SERVICE REGULATIONS (AMENDMENT) - REG 1 Seniority 1. Regulation 110 of the Public Service Regulations is amended- (a) by omitting from sub-regulation (4) "The relative" and substituting "Subject to sub-regulation (6), the relative"; and (b) by inserting after sub-regulation (5) the following sub-regulation: "(6) For the purpose of transfer or promotion to an office, being an office of- (a) Assistant Customs Officer; (b) Customs Officer, Band 1; (c) Customs Officer, Band 2; (d) Customs Officer, Band 3; (e) Customs Officer, Band 4; (f) Customs Officer, Band 5; (g) Customs Officer, Band 6; or (h) Customs Officer, Band 7, the seniority of an officer who was appointed to the service before the date of commencement of this sub-regulation and who, immediately before his transfer or promotion to that office, held one of those offices shall be determined by reference to the date of commencement of this sub-regulation as if that date were the date to which, but for this sub-regulation, reference would be made in determining the seniority or relative seniority of that officer.". 1983 No. 4 PUBLIC SERVICE REGULATIONS (AMENDMENT) - REG 2 Directions to perform temporarily duties of an office other than officer's own office 2.
