  2. Part IV of Schedule 1 to the Public Service (Salaries) Regulations is
amended by omitting Item 5 and substituting the following item:
       " 5 Trainee Air out Controller. . . . . .    18 years 6,266 . . .

                                                     20 years 8,145 ". .

Schedule 2 - Part I


  3. Part I of Schedule 2 to the Public Service (Salaries) Regulations is
amended by adding at the end of that Part the following item:
  " 8 Trainee Air Traffic Controller .     An officer who-
                                             (a)  has commenced a training
                                            course on or after 1 January
1979;
                                            and
                                             (b)  is actually performing
                                            flight data duties,
                                            shall be paid an allowance at the
                                            rate of $322.".
