1. Commencement


  1.1 These Regulations commence on gazettal.

2. Amendment


  2.1 The Ombudsman Regulations are amended as set out in these 
Regulations.

3. Regulation 4 (Bodies not to be taken to be prescribed authorities 
for the Act)


  3.1 Add at the end:
  "(2) For paragraph 3AB (1) (b) of the Act, the nominated company 
for Part 2 of the Health Insurance Commission (Reform and Separation 
of Functions) Act 1997 is to be taken not to be a prescribed 
authority.".
