1. Amendment


  1.1 The Naval Forces Regulations are amended as set out in these 
Regulations.
[NOTE: These Regulations commence on gazettal: see Acts Interpretation 
Act 1901, s. 48]

  2.1  Omit the regulation.

  3.1 Omit from the following provisions "Chief of Naval Staff", 
substitute "Chief of Navy":
  (a) provisions in which the expression to be omitted occurs once 
only:
Subregulations 4A (1), (2) and (3), 30 (1), (3) and (4), 32 (1), (3) 
and (4), 33 (3) and 34 (2), regulation 35, paragraphs 38 (1) (e) and 
(2) (b) and 40 (a), regulation 40B, subregulations 45 (1) and 102 
(3A), regulation 180, subregulations 180A (1), (2), (3) and (4), 
regulations 180C and 180D, subregulations 204 (1), (2) and (3);
  (b) provisions in which the expression to be omitted occurs twice:
Regulations 173 and 181.
[NOTE:  The heading to regulation 30 is taken to be altered by the 
substitution of "Chief of Navy" for "Chief of Naval Staff".]
