Salary of sailors holding the rank of Leading Seaman or a lower rank


  Regulation 31 of the Naval Financial Regulations is amended by omitting
sub-regulation (4) and substituting the following sub-regulation:
  " (4) For the purpose of this regulation, a class of sailors shall be
constituted by sailors-
    (a)  of a particular Branch;
    (b)  of a particular Branch included in a particular employment category;
    (c)  of a particular grade included in a particular employment category;
    (d)  with particular length of service in a rank;
    (e)  holding a particular rank;
    (f)  having particular qualifications or training;
    (g)  subject to a particular scheme of promotion; or
    (h)  to whom 2 or more of the paragraphs of this sub-regulation apply.".
