1. Commencement


  1.1 These Regulations commence on 1 April 1997.

2. Amendment


  2.1 The Financial Transaction Reports Regulations are amended as set 
out in these Regulations.

3. Regulation 12 (Schedule 1 to the Act)


  3.1 Regulation 12, Part B, items 4 (d) and 5 (d):
Omit "entitled 'Australian Standard Industrial Classification', as in 
force on 1 July 1990.", substitute "entitled:
    (i) 'Australian Standard Industrial Classification', as in force 
on 1 July 1990; or
    (ii) 'Australian and New Zealand Standard Industrial 
Classification', as in force on 31 March 1997.".
