FOREIGN ACQUISITIONS AND TAKEOVERS AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 2006 (NO. 3) (SLI NO 364 OF 2006)

- Description:These Regulations amend the Foreign Acquisitions and Takeovers Regulations 1989 to update certain exemption thresholds for certain US investors to A$100 million (indexed) and A$200 million for certain foreign offshore takeovers where the target company has less than A$200 million of assets in Australia and more than 50% of its total assets overseas.
