CHEMICAL WEAPONS (PROHIBITION) AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 2006 (NO. 1) (SLI NO 313 OF 2006)

- Description:These Regulations amend the Chemical Weapons (Prohibition) Regulations 1997 to provide a mechanism by which amendments to the Chemical Weapons Convention that have been accepted by Australia can be set out in the Principal Regulations; give effect to a change in Australian policy to lower the threshold amount at which certain chemicals are required to be declared; and set out in the Principal Regulations two technical amendments to the Verification Annex of the Chemical Weapons Convention which have been accepted by Australia.
