- REG 1. Citation 

1.    These Regulations may be cited as the Cattle Transaction Levy
Regulations.

- REG 2. Commencement 

2.    These Regulations commence on 1 May 1991.

- REG 3. Interpretation 

3.    In these Regulations, unless the contrary intention appears:
"the Act" means the Cattle Transaction Levy Act 1990.

- REG 4. Prescribed amounts for the purposes of section 6 of the Act 

4.    (1)  For the purposes of paragraph
6 (1) (b) of the Act, the amount of $0.88 is prescribed.
    (2)    For the purposes of paragraph 6 (2) (b) of the Act, the
amount of $0.19 is prescribed.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the
advice of the Federal Executive Council, being advice that has taken into
consideration in accordance with subsection 8 (3) of the
Cattle Transaction Levy Act 1990 the recommendations with respect to the
amounts for the purposes of paragraphs 6 (1) (b) and
6 (2) (b), made to the Minister by the Australian Meat and Live-stock
Research and Development Corporation, hereby make the following Regulations
under that Act.
