  1.1 These Regulations commence on gazettal.

2. Amendment


  2.1 The Crimes Regulations are amended as set out in these 
Regulations.

3. Schedule 4 (Spent convictionsÑexclusions from privacy provisions)


  3.1 Add at the end of the Schedule:
  "17 Citizen     Assessing the suitability of a person:   Offences
   Advocacy       (a) to voluntarily act as an advocate    against
   Western Sydney     for an intellectually disabled       the
   Incorporated       person; and                          person".
                  (b) to have responsibility for the
                      care of an intellectually disabled
                      person
