Receipt for application


  1. Regulation 8 of the Commonwealth Inscribed Stock Regulations is amended
by omitting "Upon" and substituting "In respect of an application that has not
been rejected, upon".

  2. Regulation 10 of the Commonwealth Inscribed Stock Regulations is amended
by omitting from sub-regulation (2) "at the address previously recorded in the
Stock Ledger".

Prescribed amount of stock for purposes of section 29 of the Act


  3. Regulation 25A of the Commonwealth Inscribed Stock Regulations is amended
by omitting "Five thousand dollars" and substituting "$10,000".

Payment of interest


  4. Regulation 32 of the Commonwealth Inscribed Stock Regulations is amended
by omitting sub-regulation (3) and substituting the following sub-regulation:
  "(3) Where the terms and conditions on which stock is issued and sold allow,
and upon a request being made in accordance with Form 24, interest may be paid
into a bank account, including a savings bank account, or into an account with
another financial institution approved by the Treasurer.".

Applications for bearer securities


  5. Regulation 52 of the Commonwealth Inscribed Stock Regulations is amended
by omitting from sub-regulation (3) "Upon" and substituting "In respect of an
application that has not been rejected, upon".

Delivery of bearer securities on behalf of a deceased person


  6. Regulation 54 of the Commonwealth Inscribed Stock Regulations is amended
by omitting from sub-regulation (1) "One thousand two hundred dollars" and
substituting "$10,000".

  7. The Schedule to the Commonwealth Inscribed Stock Regulations is amended
by omitting Form 24 and substituting the following form:
