1. Commencement


  1.1 These Regulations commence on 1 February 1993.

2. Amendment


  2.1 The Coarse Grains Levy Regulations are amended as set out in these
Regulations.

3. Regulation 3 (Interpretation)


  3.1 Insert the following definition:
  "'grain sorghum' means Sorghum Bicolor;".

4. New regulation 3A


  4.1 After regulation 3, insert:
Grain sorghum
  "3A. Grain sorghum is prescribed for the purposes of the definition of
"leviable coarse grain" in section 3 of the Act.".

  5.1 After regulation 5, insert:
Rates of levy-grain sorghum
  "6. For the purposes of subsection 11(2) of the Act, the rate of 0.2% of the
value of the grain is prescribed for grain sorghum.".
