Commencement


  1. These Regulations come into operation on the date of commencement of
section 15 of the Australian Airlines (Conversion to Public Company) Act 1988.

Prescribed authorities


  2. Regulation 9 of the Compensation (Commonwealth Government Employees)
Regulations is amended by adding at the end the following subregulation:
  "(3) For the purposes of paragraph (c) of the definition of 'prescribed
authority of the Commonwealth' in subsection 5 (1) of the Act, Australian
Airlines Limited is declared to be a body corporate to which the Act
applies.".
