1.1These Regulations commence on 2 April 1991.

- REG 2. Amendment 

2.1The Commonwealth Banks Regulations are amended as set out
in these Regulations.

COMMONWEALTH BANKS REGULATIONS (AMENDMENT)  1991 No. 55
- REG 3. New regulation 37 

3.1After regulation 36, insert:
Section 4 of the Act--definition of "Securities Commission"--prescribed
date
    "37.    For the purposes of paragraph (b) of the definition of `Securities
Commission' in section 4 of the Act, the date prescribed is 1 January
1991.".

Interpretation Act 1901, hereby make the following Regulations under the
Commonwealth Banks Act 1959.
