1.1The Banks (Shareholdings) Regulations are amended as set
out in these Regulations.

2.1Item 6 (column 3):
Add at the end:
                                "Standard Chartered Nominees Limited, being the corporation formed or
incorporated under that name in the United Kingdom
                                Standard Chartered Overseas Holdings Limited, being the corporation
formed or incorporated under that name in the United Kingdom
                                Stanchart Nominees Limited, being the corporation formed or
incorporated under that name in the United Kingdom".

Banks (Shareholdings) Act 1972.
