AUSTRALIAN POSTAL CORPORATION AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 2009 (NO. 1) (SLI NO 79 OF 2009)

- Description:These Regulations amend the Australian Postal Corporation Regulations 1996 to enable the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) to inquire into a broader range of disputes involving bulk mail interconnection services to reflect amendments made to the Australian Postal Corporation Act 1989 and to be consistent with the ACCC's dispute resolution functions in relation to other industries under the Trade Practices Act 1974.
