1980 No. 67 AIR NAVIGATION REGULATIONS (AMENDMENTS) - REG 1

Regulation 108A of the Air Navigation Regulations is amended-

   (a)  by inserting in sub-regulation (1) ", or on all flights during a
specified period," after "flight";

   (b)  by omitting paragraphs (c) and (d) of sub-regulation (1) and
        substituting the following paragraphs:

"(c) bringing the aircraft to or from a place where a demonstration,
experiment or test with respect to the aircraft is to take place or has taken
place, as the case may be;

   (d)  bringing the aircraft to or from a place where maintenance on the
        aircraft is to be carried out, or has been carried out, as the case
        may be;";

   (c)  by omitting from paragraph (e) of sub-regulation (1) "or" (last
        occurring);

   (d)  by adding at the end of sub-regulation (1) the following paragraphs:

"(g) gaining endorsement of a pilot licence under regulation 60 in respect of
an aircraft of the type or category in which that aircraft is included, that
aircraft being an aircraft in respect of which no certificate of airworthiness
has been issued under regulation 29;

   (h)  in respect of an aircraft in respect of which no certificate of
        airworthiness has been issued under regulation 29, complying with the
        requirements relating to recent experience appropriate to the licence
        or rating of the applicant that the Director-General has specified in
        Air Navigation Orders in pursuance of regulation 62; or

        (i)    obtaining flying practice in the aircraft for the purpose of
               flying that aircraft for a purpose specified in any of
               paragraphs (a) to (h) (inclusive).".
