1989 No. 2 AUSTRALIAN CAPITAL TERRITORY (ELECTORAL) REGULATIONS - REG 2

2. (1) In these Regulations, unless the contrary intention appears:

"courier service" means a service that provides for the collection, at the
request of a person using the service, of an article from a place specified by
or on behalf of that person and the delivery of the article to another place
so specified, being a service approved under regulation 26;

"Territory Electoral Officer" means the Australian Capital Territory
Electoral Officer;

"the Roll" means the Roll for the Territory.

(2) In these Regulations, a reference to an elector, or to a person qualified
to be an elector, of the Territory shall be read as a reference to a person
whose name appears on the Roll or a person entitled to have his or her name on
the Roll.
