WHEAT MARKETING ACT 1989No. 58, 1989 - SECT 17

17. (1) A member of the Board, other than the Managing Director and the
government member, shall be appointed for a specified period no longer than 3
years, but is eligible for re-appointment.

(2) The government member holds office at the pleasure of the Minister.

(3) If the Chairperson or a nominated member ceases to be a member before the
end of his or her term of office, the Minister may appoint a person to replace
the former member until the end of the term.

(4) The Minister shall not appoint a person to replace a nominated member
except in accordance with a nomination by the Committee.
