VETERANS' AFFAIRS LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT 1987 No. 78 of 1987 - SECT 9

9. (1) Section 35 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting paragraph (a)
of the definition of "income" in subsection (1) and substituting the following
paragraph:

"(a) a payment under this Part, a payment under the Social Security Act 1947
or the value of any treatment, training or goods provided under that Act;".

(2) Section 35 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting from paragraph
(d) of the definition of "period of hostilities" in subsection (1) "30 August"
and substituting "31 August".
