VETERANS' AFFAIRS (1994-95 BUDGET MEASURES) LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT (No. 2) 1994 No. 164 of 1994 - SECT 37

Rate of age, invalidity, partner and carer service pension (no dependent children)

37. Section 41 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting subsection (3) and
substituting the following subsection:

"(3) Subsection (1) does not apply to:

   (a)  an age or invalidity service pension payable to a veteran who is
        permanently blind; or

   (b)  a partner service pension payable to a person who is permanently
        blind. Note: See section 43 for the rate of those pensions when
        payable to permanently blind persons.".
