TRADE UNION TRAINING AUTHORITY ACT 1975 No. 50 of 1975 - SECT 5

5. The functions of the Authority are-

   (a)  to undertake and carry out the planning and development of programs of
        trade union training in Australia;

   (b)  to provide trade union training at the College and at the Trade Union
        Training Centres;

   (c)  to co-ordinate trade union training in Australia by the College and
        the Trade Union Training Centres and by other institutions and bodies;

   (e)  to promote the provision and undertaking of trade union training;

   (d)  to keep the trade union training that is being provided in Australia
        under constant review and to re-assess and re-evaluate that training
        in the light of experience; and

   (f)  to do anything incidental or conducive to the performance of any of
        the preceding functions.
