TELECOMMUNICATIONS (TRANSITIONAL PROVISIONS AND CONSEQUENTIAL AMENDMENTS) ACT 1997 No. 59 of 1997 - SECT 89

89 Scale of damages to continue in force 

(1) This section applies to a scale of damages in force under section 87G of
the Telecommunications Act 1991 immediately before 1 July 1997.

(2) The Telecommunications Act 1997 has effect as if:

   (a)  the scale had been specified by the ACA under section 236 of the
        Telecommunications Act 1997 at the beginning of 1 July 1997; and

   (b)  the scale had taken effect at the beginning of 1 July 1997; and

   (c)  the standard assumptions were made in relation to the scale.
