TELECOMMUNICATIONS (TRANSITIONAL PROVISIONS AND CONSEQUENTIAL AMENDMENTS) ACT 1997 No. 59 of 1997 - SECT 19

Despite the repeal of Part 15 of the Telecommunications Act 1991 (the 1991
Act) by this Act, Part 15 continues to apply, after the merging time, in
relation to a matter:

   (a)  of a kind referred to in section 333 of the 1991 Act; and

   (b)  that arose before the merging time; as if:

   (c)  that Part had not been repealed; and

   (d)  each reference in that Part to AUSTEL were a reference to the ACA; and

   (e)  sections 343 and 344 of the 1991 Act had not been enacted.
