TRADE PRACTICES AMENDMENT ACT 1977 No. 81 of 1977 - SECT 62

62. (1) Section 94 of the Principal Act is repealed.

(2) Where before the commencement of this section a notice was given to a
corporation under section 94 of the Principal Act by the Trade Practices
Commission established under that Act stating that the Commission considered
that a proposed acquisition of shares in the capital, or of assets, of a body
corporate would not be likely to have the effect of substantially lessening
competition in a market for goods or services, sections 46 and 50 of the
Principal Act as amended by this Act do not apply to or in relation to that
acquisition.
