TRADE PRACTICES AMENDMENT ACT 1977 No. 81 of 1977 - SECT 20

20. Section 29 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting sub-section (1) and
substituting the following sub-section:-

''(1) The Minister may-

   (a)  give directions as to matters to be given special consideration by the
        Commission in determining applications for authorizations or in making
        decisions for the purposes of paragraph 93 (3) (a) or (b); and

   (b)  give directions to the Commission in connexion with the performance of
        its functions or the exercise of its powers under this Act, not
        including, except as mentioned in paragraph (a), functions or powers
        related directly or indirectly to Part VII, and the Commission shall
        comply with any directions so given.''.
