Constitution of Commission.
7. (1) There is hereby established a Trade Practices Commission, which shall
consist of a Chairman and such number of other members as are from time to
time appointed in accordance with this Act.

(2) The members of the Commission shall be appointed by the Governor-General.

(3) A member of the Commission other than the Chairman may be appointed as a
full-time member or as a part-time member.

(4) For the purposes of sub-sections 4 (3A) and (4) of the Superannuation Act
1922-1973 the Chairman and the full-time members of the Commission shall each
be deemed to be required, by the terms of his appointment, to give the whole
of his time to the duties of his office.

(5) A person shall not be appointed as a member of the Commission unless he
appears to the Governor-General to be qualified for appointment by virtue of
his knowledge of, or experience in, industry, commerce or public
administration.
