TRADE PRACTICES ACT 1974 No. 51, 1974 - SECT 20
Power to take evidence on oath.20. (1) The Commission may, at a public hearing, take evidence on oath or affirmation and for that purpose a member of the Commission may administer an oath or affirmation. (2) A member of the Commission may summon a person to appear before the Commission at a public hearing to give evidence and to produce such documents (if any) as are referred to in the summons.
