TRADE MARKS ACT 1994 No. 156 of 1994 - SECT 38

Trade mark that cannot be represented in writing
38. An application for the registration of a trade mark must be rejected if
the trade mark cannot be represented in writing.
Note: "Writing" has the meaning given by section 25 of the Acts
Interpretation Act 1901 which provides as follows: " 'Writing' includes any
mode of representing or reproducing words, figures, drawings or symbols in a
visible form.".
